Ercall Wood Academy

To bring our values to life, we place great emphasis on the development of character as part of our overall PD offer. Students engage in a framework that promotes the completion of a number of independent tasks and this is supported by Form Tutors who dedicate time to coaching, challenging and setting goals alongside each student. Students complete tasks at Silver (Years 7 and 8) and Gold (Years 9 and 10) level. These tasks have been designed by a working group of staff with input from our Student Leaders and Governors. Form Tutors verify completion of each task as well as providing education around each of our key attributes of character. Each subject area also makes links to the focus for each term which is planned as below:
